Opportunities for 18 - 24 year olds

Hi. Does anyone know any more than I do (which isn't a lot) about the 'scheme' to enable 18-24 year olds to get into employment?

I think its just planned for now but will be much of what's been done before eg like the 'new deal' they had in the early 00s for young people.

So placements (that might not lead to permanent jobs). Internships (that might not lead to permanent jobs) Maybe some more apprenticeships (that again might not lead to permanent jobs once completed!)

Don't get your hopes up too high.
