Would you respond

I applied for a job on Monday via email, I received a reply 40 minutes later asking for my availability for a zoom interview, I responded with dates and times and then nothing, until today advising that they had been overwhelmed with applications and I hadn't been shortlisted for interview!

Would you respond to the email? And if so what would you say, I'm a bit deflated and annoyed that they could mess someone about like this.

Why bother, I wouldn't waste my time.
