NHS qualifying weeks and bank shifts

Hello, I am thinking of trying for a baby in the next year and I'm about to start working for the NHS. I've had a look at their maternity policy but I'm just wondering - does anyone know if you work bank shifts in your qualifying weeks will this count towards the calculation of mat pay? I'm asking early on as it will affect whether I choose to be contracted 24 or 30 hours. I'll need to have as much mat pay as possible so if bank shifts aren't included then I will choose the 30 hour contract. Thank you all in advance!

Mine didn’t, but at my trust bank is through NHSP, so if I’d done enough hours through them I’d have qualified for mat pay through them too 🤣

Of the pregnant/new mums I know, we all did as many nights/weekends between weeks 17-25 to bump our average up that way.
