Annual leave after maternity

I was wondering if someone could advise. I’m in the process of organising my return to work following maternity leave. I have taken the full year off and was full time before that. I am returning part time- does anyone know if my annual leave over that year should accrue at the full time rate or at my new part time rate? My role means I have to take all the accrued leave at the beginning of my return so trying to calculate how long I will be off for childcare purposes. I have contacted my HR but haven’t heard back yet.

You accrue annual leave at the rate you went off on maternity leave at (full time rate in your case), even though you are going back part time.

You acruw but only the statutory once unpaid so you won’t get your enhanced leave for the 12 months
