Hi, I am applying for a job as HLTA in a state primary school and the details for the salary say : Salary Band F £21,166-£24,799 pro rata. Does anyone know how they decide what salary you start on from this band? I have several years experience in this role so would hope that I wouldn't go in at the bottom but when I asked the headteacher what the salary would be she replied "HLTA salary"........
