Head hunted whilst on maternity leave

I started maternity leave just over a month ago.

I’ve since been headhunted 3 times

I don’t know how to respond because I feel like being on maternity leave will just close these doors shut forever by companies who expect someone to work full time (although flexibly) in senior position.

How do I respond without closing doors permanently?

Why do you even need to tell them about your mat leave? It doesn’t affect the fact that you are employed in x job, earn x salary... if you are worried about timings, well wait and see if you’re interested in what they have to offer first and if so negotiate a start date that suits you and your baby, they are the ones approaching you so they need you more than you need them- if you are at level where you are being repeatedly headhunted you presumably are on a long notice period anyway or they may presume you to be so it could take care of itself- go explore those options!

Do they know you are on mat leave?
