Contractual Notice and Redundancy Pay

I am worried I will be made redundant. Contract states employer must give 1 month notice and I have been employed for just over 5 years. Currently furloughed.

Am I correct in thinking I would be entitled to one month pay (notice) plus 5 weeks redundancy pay?

No. Statutory notice applies - it's five weeks, so a little note than a month. But they can make you work it. Redundancy pay depends on your age.

A little more, not a little note!
