I work on a Suspected covid ward long days and recently we have started wearing masks all the time for the whole shift. Before it was only when you’re going into a bay with patients. I suffer from migraines and they seem to get worse with wearing a mask all day. I really don’t know what to do I’m dreading everyday I go to work and by the end of my shift I will be feeling like very very unwell. I don’t know how to go on about asking to not wear one if I will be allowed? or what to do 😩

Is it the mask or does wearing the mask mean you're drinking less water?

Or eating less frequently? Both of those trigger migraines for me.

No idea working in a ward but I suppose you'll have todiscuss it with your line manager.
