Sweet Treats

Hi,

I am looking to start my own business selling sweets and treats from home (mainly pick & mix). Does anyone know if I need any public / product insurance?
I’m registered with the council and have stock ready to go but want to make sure I am doing everything I should be.

Thank you.

If you are repackaging then you will need product liability insurance. Possibly stock insurance too. Don't forget to tell your home insurance company and landlord/mortgage company of you are working from home. And do not sell alcohol or run raffles without the appropriate licences.

Thank you - that’s really helpful! X
