Getting out of a factory

Currently working full time shifts in a dead end factory job but I'm wanting to retrain. Left school with GCSE's but I have nothing else, in hindsight going to college would have been great, but I'm basically starting from scratch. I have no clue about where to start, but I'd like to work in the funerals business. Obviously hands on kinds of things are out the window right now but is there anything I can do at home? It's got me feeling a little bit lost tbh.

If this is the industry you'd like to move into, have a look at some of the bigger companies online, as they may have entry-level roles and offer training e.g. www.funeralcare.co.uk/careers/

It may also be worth calling some companies and asking if they offer any sort of shadowing or internship experience, to give you a better idea of whether this is for you.
