In desperate need of a job and no idea how to get one

I have a degree but no real experience. Have been a sahm for five years but for two of those years I was suffering from a long term illness which I am now recovered from, and for the last year I've worked part time in retail.

I really want a better paid job, and to a lesser extent I want to do something I can be proud of. I want a career I suppose, but am completely clueless about how to get one. I don't have any relevant skills or experience for anything. I am thinking of returning to study something more vocational, but I don't know what. I have no confidence and I feel so low. Just looking for ideas/inspiration I suppose.

Agencies are always itching for care workers.

Volunteer or intern in your intended field, if you can.

What is your degree in Op?

Does the shop you work in have a management training strand?

But if you want a vocation, have a really hard think about what you like, and what you’re good at.
