hi everyone hope your all well !! I have had an email today to return to work next week it is shop with small work area ,My worry is my son has a floppy larynx which has suffered with since birth (very noisy and had a few issues along the way ) he had phenomena about 3 months ago (hes now 8 months) and really knocked him for six he was struggling to breath not feeding really sleepy etc and several hospital trips to check air ways etc , they have now asked me to come back to work and im very worried about catching covid 19 and passing onto my son especially ( i have 5 children 8 and under ) ,i know there are key workers with no choice and im very grateful for all the work they are doing but surely opening a large chain fast food outlet is not the most sensible of ideas at the moment , please no nasty comments i am just a mum who is worried and looking for a little advice on what to do or am i just worrying to much and over thinking everything X

Questions meant nicely.

What do you want to happen?

What do you want your employer to do?

Isleepinahedgefund · 05/05/2020 22:43

By the way I completely understand why you are worried about your son.

magzali95 · 05/05/2020 22:51

where i work is fairly small and i am pretty sure that we couldn't self distance safely to follow guidelines but until i return i cant say for sure and i just want them to understand my concerns and reassure me that measures have been put in place to protect not just me and my family but everyone, also i am one of two or three employees with young children out of nearly 45 staff which either have no children or they have grown up children, to be honest tho i am really not sure at the moment im just worried and anxious which i hope you can understand

Can you ask your employer what guidelines he is putting place
