Moving into HR

I'm really interested in moving into HR, but have no experience in it as it stands (am currently a Preschool Teacher, so managing tantrums might be a useful skill? 😂)
How difficult do you think it would be? Are there courses that could be useful? What are your experiences of working in HR if you do?
Thanks!

Go to the CIPD website and have a look at the professional body for HR. Also look at the career discussion forum on there and that might help you.

Start with CIPD level 3. Make sure you can explain your transferable skills. I got passed over for 100+ jobs until I started picking up the phone and speaking to the recruiters to explain why I was worth a shot. Actually got rejected outright for the job I’m in now, but called up and pushed for the interview, glad I did!
