..........right so as some of you well know on tuesday i found out we owe £11,500

dh is working every weekend now to try and pay some back. I've also looked into having a part-time job as my mum can ave my kids part time but not full time!

I have also put in an enquiry to become an ann summers rep and a partylite consultant.

are there any other jobs that people could suggest that dont need any cash outlay or involve walking (have problems with my feet and can't walk long distances)

any ideas??

Was going to suggest quidco when I saw the thread title as dh has made £300 in a couple of months, but when I see the maount it would only be a drop in the ocean

Also offer the absolute barest minimum you can afford to your creditors - don't promise waht you can't do (i'm speaking from experience!). If they whine, tell them you'll go bankrupt and they won't get anything cos yiu've got no assets

Last year DH and i remortgaged and found a much better deal and got cashback top pay off the debts.

All reputable though - no dodgy stuff!

have done avon before, might look at doing it again where i did it before (my MIL's road) as by ours is useless. not that much walking involved there. might contact them again.

have done fliers for ironing and dh taken some into work too so hopefully get lots of office mens shirts to do! hurrah!

You have to try to get it ALL on 0%. This means that you'll be re paying the debt, not just interest every month

we do have a mortgage but are in a part-buy part-rent and this was the only company willing to lend us the amount we needed so doubt it would be an option, but will look into that thanks!

once we find out the payoff amount of the final loan we will sort out wether we consolidate, put on credit cards etc etc.

stacey - I wish I could help but you know my situation is just as bad as yours Just wanted to let you know I am here if you want to talk it over - how about contacting some recruitment companies and ask if they could pay you a small basic wage to help with their business development? You could then contact potential employers and sign them up with the agencies and maybe negotiate a small commission for every company you sign up, every vacancy they advertise with you and then for every vacancy you fill? Don't know if they would do it but might be worth a try and you could even do it from home?

i think it's only about 35 but i could be wrong, i think walker book do one too, don't know if they have a charge. you could join some survey websites if you have all day net access, you have to do loads but you can get vouchers towards your shopping or hard cash in return.

Sleepless, I have been doing surveys since March this year and have got quite a bit from them.

The best one is YouGov. I have earned £100 off them so far.
They give you £1 to start with and payments for refering freinds and family too. When you earn £50 they send you a cheque out.

Theres also Global Test Market and Lightspeed panel.

Lightspeed is good too as they offer lots of surveys but when it comes to payment you have to have it into a paypal account or you can pick items that they have on their site.

If your Mum can look after the children a little bit, what about sticking a card up your local corner shop or where ever to do some cleaning ? I used to do this when I was a student and needed some extra money. I know it isn't going to help hugely but could give you a bit extra each month which could go towards your food shopping or something.

Can you take a payment holiday on your mortgage? Some providers will let you have a break for a few months and its a great way to get back on your feet. Of course it extends the term of your mortgage but by then hopefully things will be better.

Have a look at moneysavingexpert.com, loads of ways to cut your household bills and claim cash back, then you can put what you save into paying off the debts. I managed to cut my weekly spending for the whole family right down.
