Small employer Is joining a union worth it

I work for a small employer with no recognised union. Is it worth joining a union in these circumstances? (I don’t want to organise). I don’t currently need employment law help but if I did in the future would I get help more than just stuff I’d know calling Acas?

Yes, you would get full representation and legal assistance. Even though your employer does not recognise your union for pay talks, you would be able to call on them if you have an employment law problem and they would deal with it.
It's a really cheap insurance policy.
