If we have a 2nd DC and I stop work

Are we entitled to any extra tax credits/benefits? DP works full time (40 hours perweek), I work 20 hours at the moment, we have a mortgage and want a 2nd baby, but the tax credits website says we wouldn'tgetanyextramoney for 2nd child. Would I (or DP) be eligibleto claim anything else?

you get child benifit, but even that is at a reduced rate in comparison to the 1st! We're self employeed so things work a bit different for us, but we got extra for dd2 from tax credits, certainly more in her 1st year, than this year, but we did get money for her, I guess it depends on your income bracket huh?
