jobseekers agreement- lack of opportunities during lockdown

Hi does anyone know situation with regards to jobseekers commitment to 35 hours a week jobsearch during lockdown? Most of the jobs have dried up except those in medical and supermarket roles, but as I am a diabetic very reluctant that I should have to apply for these roles which may endanger my health. Is there any sort of reduction in terms of how much time we are meant to spend jobsearching during Coronavirus?

I believe the need to show proof that you are jobseeking has been entirely suspended for the time being.

I can’t imagine they will expect much from you. I actually applied well over a week ago and haven’t been sent appointment time yet. They must be very behind.

Diabetes alone is not a reason to Consoder yourself high risk

MyDcAreMarvel · 31/03/2020 11:32

Diabetes is a high risk group!

MyDcAreMarvel · 31/03/2020 11:33

Op you don’t need to job search as pp said requirements have been suspended .

@MyDcaremarvel

Not high enough to shield for 12w

MyDcAreMarvel · 31/03/2020 12:23

No not to shield, but many employees are sending high risk in addition to vulnerable workers home.
