I work for the NHS as an administrator but have been told I need to go in as I can't do my job at home due to lack of laptops. I'm single mum to my daughter and her main carer and with the schools being shut for months on end I will have to take all my annual leave to care for her and then go onto unpaid leave for the summer holidays. There hasn't been any change to the carers policy. Is anyone else in the same boat ??

Is your daughter's school not open for children of key workers? If not do you know any school close by who will be willing to take her? As far as I am aware, schools are still open but only for children who's parents work for the NHS and a part of other key professions.

Adding to what Asianchick said, if your daughter's school is not open contact your local authority and they will help you find a school place for her.
