Question about finding job through Agency

I have signed up (kinda) to a job agency (both temp and perm) and am going to see them on Monday. They already have my CV and now want face to face meeting to discuss type of work etc.

I have already applied for some jobs (before I heard back from agency) but closing date for their applications isn't for another couple of weeks so I won't know if I've got anywhere for a while.

If I am still looking for work through agency and I get a job offer through another means that I decide to take up will this be:

a) not a problem.

b) immoral but not technically a problem

c) woah your in big trouble

d) depends on agency.

Everyone I know who has got a job through an agency has not been looking for work through other means or has not gotten work through other means so have no idea.

Don't really want to mention it to them if they're gonna get pissed about it.

TIA

I used to work for one of the big national agencies and this is very common.

All I would say is to be upfront with the agency when you go along to speak with them. Don't mention the names of the companies that you have applied to, just state that you have applications in for a couple of other jobs.

thanks for that.

I get worried about these kinda things.

I will tell them on MOnday.
