Pro rata question

I am going to apply for a part-time job but I am a little bit confused about the pay and would like some help please

the pay is advertised as ' Salary: £20,00 to £21,00 pro-rata up to 15 hours per week'

how much would this work out to be? Thank you so much

I suppose it depends how many hours full time staff work. To work out the pro rata amount you would divide 15 by the full time hours and then multiply by £20000 or £21000.

E.g. 15/37.5 × 20000 = £8000
15/40 × 21000 = £7875
