Does anyone do online transcription/data entry type work?

My mental health is in the toilet right now so from home, flexible-hours jobs sound ideal. Any website recommendations or tips would be very welcome! And if anyone else is trying out this sort of thing and wants to chat and cheerlead each other please join me

Hi I'm interested in getting into freelance transcription so watching with interest.

I see a few threads have been started though and they never really go anywhere.

I googled my local Chamber of Commerce and found they have free workshops and introductory courses for people setting up new businesses so I'm hoping to get a response from them of what it entails. I'll let you know how I get on.

@HelKir - why do you think it's a good idea to advertise on threads here? Why not advertise where trained proofreaders will see your ad? Companies can pay to take out an ad with the CIEP that will go to all qualified members, for example.
