Calling in sick

Has anyone had any worries about calling in sick to work. I have a terrible migraine and back ache so I've just rang in for the first time since I've been pregnant but now I feel so guilty for the others who have to pick up my work for the day or that my boss will think I should just 'get on with it' I haven't vomited but I do feel dreadful-
The guilt is almost worse! Hmm

I always feel guilty when I call in sick but if you're sick you're sick and you cope when other people aren't well so try not to worry too much.

Don't feel guilty, you are not well enough to be at work. Make a cup of tea and go back to bed and think no more about it

I hate ringing in sick. I'm rarely sick but the guilt is always there! Rest up and feel better soon

Look, you've made the call. Now concentrate on your own needs. You need to relax and get better, spending the day feeling bad benefits no one now. I speak from experience.
