What job did you do after being a care assistant?

I’m currently working as a care assistant. I know it’s not what I’ll want to keep doing but not to sure what I want to do next. For anyone who was a carer, what job did you do after?

Not me but a friend moved in to recruitment for caring roles. Something to consider self you've got decent admin and people skills.

You could look at nursing associate role that trusts seem to be pushing for at the moment.
I worked as an OT assistant for 18 years after being a care assistant.
I now work as care coordinator in an NHS community support team

I was a care assistant part time nights alongside delivering MOW part-time daytime for some years, I then became a Home care coordinator with the same L/A , then got a job starting up and managing extra care housing which was great, then went on to S/W same L/A total 33 years !!!!!! which I still do but last 5 years I have reduced work to 3 days pw. ( As part of S/ W role I briefly was based in hospital setting which I hated )
