Part time and contract

Hi,
Looking for advice from other part timers or knowledgeable people.

If you are part time, what does your contract state regarding salary? Let's say for ease my full time salary is 10k and I work 75% of full time. Should my contract say 10k pro rata or 7500 pro rata? Hours are stated as 75%

Should say £10k pro rata

£10k, pro rata. For the avoidance of doubt, I used to draw up contracts that also said actual salary £7,500 for x contracted hours.

It needs to be clear what you are going to be paid. So if it is expressed in a way that makes it difficult to determine how much you will be paid, it needs amending.
