is PART time work is easier for the employers to employ you than FULL time jobs??

I had recruitment agents ringing me regularly when I worked fulltime. Once I said I wanted parttime hours, they never got back to me

Nope. FT is easier for employers. Doesn't mean there aren't pt vacancies out there though, but some fields particularly there are not many at all.

depends what your line of work is. if you're looking at semi or unskilled work then they usually love part timers and rely on mums/students/semi retired folk. if you're a professional or skilled worker then ime it's far easier to be full time at first then make a request for part time hours, ie after maternity leave. very hard to join a company in this situation on part time hours, unless they happen to be looking for someone to do job share etc... rare.

Full time is easier for employers. part time can be cheaper as the Employers NIC can be less on 2 part timers than one full timer.
