Has anyone completed a OCR course via KeyNet training as distance learning and if so would you recommend? I need a equivalent to a RSA/OCR text processing/word processing qualification for a career change and am considering. Any insights would be grateful! TIA

Can you already touch type? You really need to be able to touch type at a reasonable speed (at least 50 words per minute) to be considered for a secretarial post.

Do look at Pitman Training, they do all sorts of courses and diplomas and teach you from scratch if need be. They do distance learning too so you can train in your own time. They are expensive but it's always worth investing in your own career, I think.
