UC and child care

I've been told To claim for a change of circumstance loan to cover the upfront cost of childcare how does this work and how long does it take anybody have a clue

They can give it to you within a few days and they deduct it from you UC. I'm due to return back to the NHS in September SO I have been putting money aside each month for childcare for when I return
