Do I need to tell a potential employer that I'm pregnant?

Hi,

So I just recently found out that I'm pregnant. It's still very early, about 5/6 weeks, and I'm currently job hunting.
Just wanted to know if I have to tell them that I'm pregnant at interviews? I haven't told any friend of family yet as it is so early, so not sure I need to tell them?
Worried that when I tell them in a few months time they might be annoyed, and feel like I wasn't honest?

Thanks in advance Smile

Not at all, have a quick check but I think it is about 17 weeks before you have to tell them. Congratulations on your pregnancy.

No, but be aware that you won’t be eligible for SMT/maternity pay from them if you are pregnant before starting work with them.

25th week. In some roles you may want to tell them sooner.
