HI Ladies. I am a fully qualified secondary school teacher and also have some experience in resource teaching. I have not been teaching for about 5 years. I really want to go back into a secondary or primary school in some capacity. I only want to work part-time and it would have to be mornings. I have also done lots of courses in Autism as my son has autism. I need to be at home with him and he finishes school at 1:30pm everyday. I have applied for jobs at some schools (I live in Cork City) but got nothing back. How can I apply to volunteer at schools to do something like resource or private tutor? Have any of you ever done this? I really just want to get back in, in some capacity. I really like teaching and miss it.
