I never take.sick leave.Well rarely a.coupe of days of I'm desperate.
Lately I've struggled.lots of relentless hours family issues with a suicida l DD at NY. Work issues with no support from management and recently finding out our hours are changed from clocking out if managers think weve.been quiet so should be finished!! Without us knowing. This has happened to the junior members not me as far as I can see.
I'm going through the menopause and have had debilitating symptoms. Now I have bladder.issues that I need to address now HRT is sorted. All making my anxiety and.depression worse.
I don't want to tell all my male bosses about this embarrassing new symptom.
How much info would I need to give regarding a self certification?

"Gynecological Issues" will never EVER be questioned for more detail.

Would you actually say that ? Or rely on the depression and anxiety?I don't want to lie to be honest.

Technically if the anxiety and depression are long term then you could be covered under disability legislation. However it is also perceived very negatively by management teams as can be ongoing infinitely and longer impacting on the company .
Whereas gynaecology issues has an air of possibly a longer term condition but usually not forever with treatment and management.
So really at this time I'd opt for gynae if you haven't a history of a and d that work are aware of.. If they are aware and you have declared this under dda then sign as this.

They are aware I have panic disorder and can't go out alone. So hardly ever as I work opposite shifts to DH I have to take annual leave to see him at all.
I also have SAD.I am on zero hours so don't want to jeopardize my hours.
The HRT has helped and work is my coping mechanism like I say I do feel I need a couple of days to feel less stressed. My confidence is quite low at the moment.

Definitely put gynaecological issues. It isn't a lie. They don't need to know any more. Getting some help will be a weight off your mind and help you all round. Hope life gets better soon Flowers
