Training to be fitness instructor? With no background

Does anyone know how you would get into something like this? Maybe dance fitness or aerobics? What prerequisites would there be?

I've no background in this at all, except attending some yoga and aerobics classes, but it's something I enjoy and feel a dance fitness class for example would be popular. However, I don't have any medical or fitness training, no degree etc.

Would this even be possible?

Very interested to hear from anyone who does something similar. Thanks.

Fitness instructor is a basic level 2 qualification and you don’t need anything. Most people progress onto at least a level 3 personal training course and there are many options at L4 too.
