Career change mid 20's

Hi. This post isn't about me but my daughter. She is in her mid 20's and has a 3 year old child. She left a fairly decent job for a routine, but fairly dead end job because of the commute. She needs a career change to try to earn some decent money. She can't afford something like an ou course; and even if she did most decent jobs want experienced candidates. How are you meant to get experierance if no one will give you a chance? She's looking at something officey loke HR. In her previous job she landed a big events contract and also received upseller of the year twice, so she does have skills.
Just don't know where to start with trying to help her make any advances. Surely, if you don't get it right job wise your mid 20's is not too late to make a change?

I’m in a similar boat but with an 11year old. The truth is company’s don’t want to be flexible so that straight up makes it complicated to find anything. But I’ve tried changing my career path and I don’t even get interviews 🤷🏼‍♀️ I even write amazing cover letters. She could do Open Uni on a student loan which she wouldn’t have to pay back till she was on decent money, and most end up getting written off anyway!
She needs to be willing to work for free (just for awhile) or a really low income like an internship. If they don’t have to pay much for her she’s more likely to get her foot in the door. Then she just needs to show them she means business & the salary increase will improve or she can use her experience to then help her get a career elsewhere.
