I’m hoping for some advice or thoughts please if anyone has experience with business models around PR, marketing, events, brand management, talent management, agents and events.
I have a background in scaling up start ups, pr and marketing.
I plan to launch a new business this year as I have several people who want to work with me that I’m already helping.
Client 1 runs a niche type of self help, personal development, meditation type system (think of a new yoga / mindfulness / EFT type thing)
The want me to:
Create a new logo
Build and design new website
Manage online webinars - inc promo, tix sales etc
Set up a database and manage mail outs
They currently do some social media but this would also need an overhaul to match the rest of the work
Fully set up and create in person events, both one off and regular monthly meetings
And more.....
This obviously crosses over so many business models!
I know I can easily sell the person and concept to media outlets as well.
My question is how do I set up remuneration / payment scheme for this type of work?
Should I actually be taking a talent manager style biz model and take a revenue split on all earnings, or even as I’ll be running most of the events / setting up the online ones do I run a promo company and give my client a revenue split?
They’re an incredibly lovely, trust worthy person btw so no concerns about being stitched up financially (I’ve been in biz a long time and have experienced this!)
However I want to create a long term sustainable biz model that I can replicate with others as the above as my key skill set and what I love doing.
