Anyone else preparing themselves to go back to a job they hate?!

I'm going back to work today. Worked one day so far since Christmas but was a short day and wasn't too bad, but back today and tomorrow usual hours.

Anyone else preparing themselves for it?

My aim for January/February is to find a new job and hand in my notice ASAP (which I can't see going down well!). Until then I just need to keep my head down and get the place organised for when I leave. Think I'll spend the next few weeks going through everything, stock and paperwork etc, so if it ends badly and I leave without working my notice someone else can just pick it up straight away.

@strictlymomdancing, I was made redundant 3 years ago. I must have sent out upwards of 15 applications every single week for 5 months. Or of all of those I got 3 interviews, one of those didn't even bother to let me know that I hadn't got the job, just completely ignored my follow ups! I heard nothing back from any of the other applications I sent out. The way these things are conducted absolutely stinks, please do not get too disheartened, Looking for a new job is a full time job all by itself whilst being utterly soul destroying at the same time. Keep your chin up, there's something for you somewhere.

oh no, that sucks @Yorkshiremum17 I know how it feels. I feel like I'll never escape either. Did you ask for feedback?

My phased return will start in April. I will have to see my old manager (she's still in the team) and her manager (who didn't support me) and I really don't know how I'm going to handle that. I am just so angry with how I've been treated by them.
