Anyone around with civil servant recruitment experience who might be able to help?

I'd love to apply for a job I've seen. I'm not a civil servant but this is a civil service post, so the application process is a bit of a mystery to me. It's at grade 3 level. The advert asks candidates to show ways they model the core skills of: Stakeholder Engagement, Delivery Management, Professional Skills & Leadership. I can't find these headings (apart from Leadership) in any of the online Civil Service Behaviour profiles etc, so am wondering if I'm missing anything.
Can anyone with Civil Service recruitment experience point me in the right direction? Thank you!

Most of the Civil Service have moved to Success Profiles, which incorporates the behavioural definitions - see below

Not sure if the role you're interested in is a project delivery role? The headings you've listed are in the UK Government Project Deliver framework here

What you can be assured of is the opportunity for a long and varied career no matter which grade you start on.

Grade 3 - is it a senior civil service post? Can you post (or PM) a link to the job ad?

daisychain01 · 30/12/2019 14:26

I think Grade 3 is HEO level @Isleepinahedgefund

I have to say, CS grades are a bit bonkers!

Isleepinahedgefund · 30/12/2019 15:56

Yes they are, and it's even more confusing when the department has its own grading terminology!

I've coached lots of people through HEO applications, happy to help if you want to PM me some details 😊

Thanks all - this is v useful

@Isleepinahedgefund, I've sent you a PM

Thank you!
