Hey ladies,
Looking for some advice in regards to training in Beauty Therapy.
I have a big interest in skin/facials and non invasive aesthetic treatments. I also would like to consider waxing and massage as well.
So my questions is a Beauty Therapy Level 2 course is the basic NVQ to get before you can start a Level 3. But these courses involve training in manicures/pedicures, make up etc. And those are things I'm not looking to do in the future. (Plus these courses can be rather expensive and difficult to fit around a baby and a toddler)
I know you can do some courses individually such as an eyelash extension course, a Level 2 facials course. This is something I would prefer to do....has anyone else done this? Can I be employed or self-employed if I do these individual courses rather than a generic beauty therapy course?
