Maternity leave and annual leave

Hi,
I went on my mat leave on March 15th 2019. Our AL runs from jan-dec and I am entitled to 28 days. I didn’t take any AL from Jan-March. What happens with regards to my annual leave for this year? Any advice appreciated

You will accrue annual leave during maternity and can take it on your return to work. I used mine to do a phased return.
