He's got a solid case against his ex-employers, that's for sure.

Well that's going to be an interesting hearing. Depends what the company policy and his employment contract said re social media. Certainly he shouldn't have defamed the company but equally they can't unreasonably restrict his right to work (including finding new work). Sounds like he was a bit naive with the extent of the info he uploaded too.

How did he : "defamed the company"?

If you post that you reduced costs by £x million, do you see that as negative? Whereas, increased sales by £x million, positive?

He posted his achievements?
