Hello,

I am in a nhs secondment at the moment. I know that when this ends I will return to my original post. My question is though, when I go back- will I be on the next stage of my increment as I would have worked a year in my secondment. Or will I be on the same increment I was before the secondment and have to wait another year to go up again. I am currently a band 7 and would be going back as a 6.

Your increment date should be honoured. Just make sure you raise it with HR as soon as you have seen your first B6 payslip
