Bonus after returning to work after maternity

Has anyone had a bonus after returning to work after maternity leave? I'm positive that with my first two children I got paid an extra fortnights wages after I'd been back for 12 and then 18 months. Back from maternity leave number three and no-one at work has heard of this.. i haven't made it up surely?

Could it have been holiday pay you were entitled to? When i was on maternity i got a large sum that i wasnt expecting toward end of the 9mnths paid maternity,turned out it was hoilday pay and leui hours owed for that period..

No definitely not holiday pay- I'm sure it was in my old maternity pack I was given from work- two weeks extra pay at 12 and 18m back. Probably would've been helpful to say I work for Boots.

I had one, it was a company policy to try and retain staff rather than a statutory entitlement.

Yes still with same company- now thinking is maybe a bonus they have no done away with

I'll phone hr tomorrow. My epayslips don't go back that far.

We did - we got a £1000 return to work bonus.

Hopefully it’s still company policy, or they can at least confirm it was a policy to put your mind at rest.

What does the relevant policy say?

I had this with my first 2 kids. They’ve changed it now so with my third I got more mat pay and no bonus.

Need to check current policy- I'd just assumed it hadn't changed- I certainly didn't get more maternity pay
