Sales cvs should highlight achievments and key successes, demonstrating sales skills, successes, try looking on the internet for example cv.

for a sales role, i would include

  • areas of previous expertise - i.e have you specialised in engaging with certain vertical sectors? is your experience business to business or consumer based?
  • key successes/ achievements within previous role (i.e. top sales performer, biggest / key client contracts secured)
  • any specific sales training you have attended and utilised - i.e. spin/tas
  • Performance vs target in previous roles
  • depending on type/ seniority of role you are going for, may also be useful to list other areas you may have had exposure too previously (i.e. commercial knowledge on pulling bid pricing together) - shows you are more than just sales focused and can look at bigger picture.

Hope it helps, is the kind of stuff I look at when recruiting for for my team.
