I've been a SAHM for 4 years and I need to get back to work. I have little childcare options during school hols etc and term-time jobs are so hard to find. So I am now turning my attention to possibly doing some freelance admin work. I have found a couple of websites (upwork, peopleperhour) but I don't really know where to start, what is the best thing to go for.
Does anyone do this that can advise me?

I would look at what admin services your competitors are offering and see how they package it. I’m only familiar with pph and the freelancers on there seem to offer bite size services such as ‘create powerpoint presentation’ for £25. Imagine that would be a negotiation point depending on how big the job was and is possibly a way in to a local business wanting ad hoc work?
Do an inventory of your skills and see how you can package them my up. Would be a good starting point.

You might want to join a VA agency. Do you have experience as a VA or office administrator? Maybe start by getting a list together of what tasks you are good at.
