Maternity- holiday accrued

I started maternity in Feb. I had worked out my last stat mat pay will be November (9 months maternity pay) then I was assuming December I would use the holiday I have accrued whilst on maternity then start back to work in the new year. Does this sound right?

My work assumed you were taking the full 12 months unless you told them otherwise. You should have received a letter confirming the start date and your return to work date. For dc2 mine said 12 months although I only intended to take 9 months. They said fine I could just let them know, but the letter stated the notice period required.
