I’m a newly qualified paediatric nurse, I’m due to start my new job next week Within an nhs trust but a few weeks out I was pregnant, completely unexpected but we’re over the moon. I’m currently 13 weeks. At what should I tell my new employer? Very nervous about this as I’m just qualified and a new job. Just want some advice when best to tell my employer? There is guidance from your HR department in NHS u can phone them without having to give details yet on where u work. You do have to give notice so they can plan to backfill your position.
