How will going back to work affect my child benefit and tax credits?

My husband works full time and now I would like to go back to work, but my mum says my child benefit will be affected. I thought it was only tax credits that were affected. Doesn't child benefit stay the same regardless?
Help!

TIA

Child benefit is fixed but Child Tax Credits may change.

Child benefit will always stay the same, regardless.

Go to entitled to.com

Type in your earnings etc. and they can give you a rough estimate of how much you'll get
