Hello.

I was under the impression that when you went back to work after mat leave your holiday would still be there.

Our holiday calendar starts in January. I went on mat leave Jan 25rh and hadn't used any holiday.

I've started back this week (ft, but 4 days instead of 5) and been told I only have two days holiday I can use. Is that correct?

I don’t think that’s right, no. Do they think you took less maternity leave and tagged on your leave?

No that's not correct I finished in the December and returned September and I still had all my holidays to take so easing back in was a dream

Agree its wrong unless as a pp says they think you've taken holiday before returning to work?

No before I left I said ill start maternity leave on Jan 25th and said we'd ended it October 7th which is the day I started back. Never said nauthing was leave.

What have you been paid for? If they've taken any period as leave, you should have been paid at your full time rate for that. If you've just had maternity pay then obviously thats indicative of it all being maternity leave. Can you ask HR to clarify?

I've just had maternity pay nothing else.

We don't have a HR department so to speak. Company isn't that big.
