Part-time work/recruitment agencies

I'm interested in finding out about people's experience with finding part-time work through recruitment agencies (esp in management, marketing, not-for-profit, roles).

Has anyone come across an agency that specialises in part-time work or getting mothers back to work?
Would you find such an agency useful if it existed?

I have been looking for part-time work for months and have just secured a job 22hrs per week for a maternity cover contract.
It has taken me ages and had there been an agency specialising in part-time / flexible work I would have bitten their hand off!!
I did see an article in the paper the other day about an agency that specialises in flexible work; can't remember what it was called though.
Brilliant idea if you're thinking about it!

There was one I came across a while ago (internet based) but it had shut down. I would use one myself- wouldn't mind running one if I had the time!
