Any issues - Career Break contract

Are they any issues that need to be looked at before you take a career break to sort of work life balance?

Pension Scheme - how long can you continue to be a member - whether same job/level of job guaranteed and t and c 's (holiday entitlement based on accured service, benefits), maintaining share options or SAYE achemes if you need to be tecnincally "employed" to benefit.

LIZS has just about covered everything

one other thing - how much notice do you have to give if you need to return earlier than planned for any reason? (our scheme is 3 months - this was an important factor for us as DH is freelance so if his work dried up I could be earning again in 3 months if need be)

Thanks for all the help. This is really useful. My pension scheme would freeze, i would have to give 3 months notice as well. I am not sure that I ready to this as yet!
