Have they overpaid me?

What is the current SMP? Thought it was no more than about £117 pw? Had my pay slip and work seem to have been paying me about £520 gross per much. seems to much?

It's 90% of your pay for the first six weeks if that helps at all?

I'm not on maternity leave yet, but my employer has informed me that when I am paid SMP, although they will continue to pay me monthly, they will only pay a multiple of full weeks' SMP. So I will receive 4 weeks' SMP one month, then 5 weeks' SMP the following month etc. Do you know if your employer is doing it this way as well?

looks about right to me. take 117 and multiply it by 52.143 (no of weeks in the year) and then divide by 12 to reflect getting paid monthly. Equals about £509.
