Love my job but...

I truly love the company I work for. I was lucky to end up here in same field but different industry as before (so far so good). I'll be on ML in 12 days, they're paying me enhanced MP even though I don't qualify for it, so far so good.

My salary is ridiculously low for my experience and qualifications. They haven't used my maximum potential but after a brief chat about my ML that should change.

That's fantastic news, but no salary increase was discussed. I have many months to finalise the job spec, so not in a complete rush BUT depending on what I get will be fundamental to calculate childcare and if my DH should go part time or not.

What's the best way to approach this? Do I just come up with an asking price? Percentage based on my current salary?

The job will be a mix of operations, business development and localisation management, with some customer support thrown in.
